March 13 - Psalm 15 - On being ensnared

Our dearest Father in Heaven,
We thank You so much for this day, for Your goodness, Your blessings, Your lovingkindness and Your tendermercies. Hallowed be Thy holy name forevermore. Dearest Father, we thank You for Your constant and particular care of us, that You never leave us nor forsake us. We are indeed very grateful. Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that we never be hasty to enter into agreements, or make promises or oaths. But we pray instead for the grace to be slow to speak, slow to anger and quick to listen, so that we do not speak idle or vain words, or be ensnared by the words of our mouths. Help us O Lord to be like You each and everyday, being changed by Your word which You have given to us. Above all O Lord, take all the glory in our lives, even now and forevermore, in Jesus mighty and glorious name we pray, with thanksgiving. Amen.
