March 9 – Psalm 15 – On backbiting

Our dearest Father in Heaven,

We praise and worship You for this beautiful day that You have made. We thank You for the food You give us to eat, for the breath of life, for clothes and shelter, and for being a Father, and an excellent one. Abba Father, indeed You are the greatest, the best, the loveliest, the kindest, the most generous and indeed it is a pleasure to be called Yours. We thank You for Your word which You have given to us by which we know that the tongue is an unruly being and if any one does not transgress with it, he is perfect. Abba Father, yet we know that with the same mouth, we could bless God and curse others … and this ought not to be. Our Father and our God, this day we pray, that You put a new song in our mouth, even of praise unto You, that many will see and fear and trust You, to the end that only blessings would come out of our mouths, in Jesus name. We praise You Daddy, we bless You Lord Jesus, and we thank You precious Holy Spirit of God. Lord God, please help us to be discerning, to know what to say, when to say it and how to say it – to speak with wisdom, to the end that the words of our mouth, and the meditations of our heart, would continually glorify Your holy name. All this we pray in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
