April 27 – From Psalm 18

Our dearest Heavenly Father,
We thank You so much for today and another opportunity to rejoice in You. We thank You for Your breath of life, for Your goodness and for Your faithfulness. We thank You for today. We thank You because You save those that are afflicted. We adore because there is forgiveness with You so that You may be feared. We thank You for Your gentleness that makes us great. We thank You for the salvation of our souls. Our Lord and our God, we commit this day into Your hands, and pray that in all that we do in word, or thought or deed, we glorify only Your holy name. We pray that we walk with You and are aware of Your awesome presence. We pray that we walk in the good works which You before ordained that we walk in. We thank You because it is You who works in us both to will and to do of Your good pleasure. We pray that our love abounds yet more and more in all knowledge and judgment, that we may approve that which is excellent, that we may be sincere and without offence, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Christ Jesus to the glory and praise of God. We commit ourselves into Your hands and all Your children around the world. We pray for perseverance and unity within the body of Christ and love wherein people will know that we are Your disciples. We thank You Father, we thank You Son, we thank You Holy Spirit of God. We pray once again O Lord of the harvest that You send forth labourers into Your harvest for the harvest in plenteous but the labourers are few. We pray for forgiveness of sins and in any way we have had high looks. We humble ourselves before Your throne of grace this day and pray that You and You alone will be glorified in our lives now and ever more in Jesus mighty and glorious name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
