December 3 – You O Lord, be my teacher – the work of the Spirit

Our dearest heavenly Father,
We bless and worship, thank and praise You for this day which You have made in which we can rejoice and be glad in. Blessed be Thy Holy name O God of our fathers, of Abraham, of Isaac, of Jacob, of the living, forever and ever amen. Hallowed be Thy name forevermore, amen. We thank You for this 3rd day in this New Year. We thank You because before it was You were, and You knew that it would come to pass. Be Thou exalted forevermore in Jesus name, Amen. Our Father, we pray this day as David prayed O so long ago, that You shew us Thy way and teach us Thy path, guide us in Thy truth and lead us, for You are our God, our Saviour, and our hope is in You all the day long. Father, we thank You for Your Holy Spirit whom You have given to live in us and dwell with us, to lead us into all truth, to be our comforter, our advocate, our friend, our counselor, our teacher. Lord God, help us to hear all that the Spirit is saying to us in Jesus name, Amen. Help us not to be like Pharaoh whose heart was continually hardened even to his destruction and that of His people, but, put in us a heart of flesh a heart that longs and is moved by Your Word, by Jesus. We thank You also for Your Word, Jesus, whom You have given to us, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Help us to abide in Him and let His words abide in us for without Him we are nothing. Blessed be Your Holy name O Lord our God forevermore. We thank You, bless You and exalt You knowing that You have heard and answered our prayers even as we pray in Jesus mighty and victorious name, Amen.
