January 21 – What we lay up, and for whom.

Our dearest heavenly Father,
We bless You, we thank You, we adore and appreciate You. We give You all the praise and all the glory our good God. We thank You for bringing us into the 3rd week of this new year, and we thank You for Your blessings thus far, Be exalted forever and ever our Lord and our God. At this time, we thank You for the ability to work, to labour. We thank You because we know that except the Lord builds a house, a builder buildeth it but in vain, and also that except the Lord keepeth a city, the watchman watcheth but in vain. And so dear Lord, we ask that this year, that we do not delve into work that does not profit, but we will do work that has Your backing – heaven’s work. That in all that we do, we will do it as unto You, and not unto man, for of You do we receive the reward of the inheritance. We pray also dear God, our Father and our God, that we would abound in Your work and be rich towards You, that You will work in us that which is pleasing in Your eyes, and that we will be filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Christ Jesus, to the glory and praise of the Father. Thank You Dearest Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and precious Holy Spirit of God. We love You so much dear Father and ask that we continually do only that which is well pleasing in Your eyes, to the glory of Your holy name, in Jesus mighty and glorious name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
