May 2 - The Power of His Resurrection

And King of glory, God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of glory, this is our prayer this day O Lord. We pray dearest heavenly Father, King of kings and Lord of lords, King of majesty, that indeed You give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power to usward who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power, which You wrought in Christ, when You raised Him from the dead, and set Him at Your own right hand in heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come, and hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all, in Jesus mighty name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen. For indeed we want to know You Lord and the power of Your resurrection and the fellowship of Your suffering and be made conformable unto Your death, in Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
