May 30 – From Mark 2

Our heavenly Father,
Who created the world in 6 days and on the 7th rested, hallowed be Thy holy name. Blessed King of glory, all-powerful God, we give You all the praise and all the glory and all the adoration in Jesus name. Lord Jesus we thank You, we bless You and adore You. Holy Spirit of God, what can we say, but thank You. Father God, we come this day in humility to repent of anytime and about anything You have asked us to do or are asking us to do and we have refused or are refusing to do. Father Lord, please grant us the grace to go and do it, knowing that we can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth us. We repent also for all the times or things we had and have agreed to do, and did not do or are not doing. We say we are truly sorry and ask for the grace to do these things as well. Father, we pray that the words of refusal or of acceptance that was not backed with action will not stand against us on the day of judgment. We pray however that they be covered by the blood of Jesus and we ask for a fresh presentation of Your request, being confident that through You and Your Spirit in us, we will discern Your calling and carry it out. We thank You Father, we thank You Son of God, our husband, and we thank You precious Holy Spirit of God for all these things, in Jesus’ mighty name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
